Designed for Durable Functional Parts
PrimaSelect TPU 77D is engineered for users who need more than a standard flexible filament. Compared to softer TPU grades, TPU 77D provides increased rigidity while maintaining the toughness and flexibility that thermoplastic polyurethane is known for. The result is a material capable of withstanding repeated stress, impacts, and demanding operating conditions without becoming brittle.
Its combination of flexibility and structural integrity makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including protective covers, industrial fixtures, wheels, vibration-dampening components, grips, and other functional parts that benefit from controlled flexibility.
Excellent Mechanical Performance
With an elongation at break of up to 700%, PrimaSelect TPU 77D can absorb significant deformation before failure, making it highly resistant to cracking under load. The material also offers strong resistance to abrasion and wear, helping printed parts maintain their performance over extended periods of use.
In addition, TPU naturally provides good resistance to oils, greases, and many common chemicals, making it suitable for demanding workshop, engineering, and industrial environments.
Reliable and Consistent Printing
PrimaSelect TPU 77D has been optimized for stable printing on modern FDM/FFF 3D printers. It delivers smooth extrusion, strong layer adhesion, and reliable print quality when using the recommended settings. For best results, use a nozzle temperature between 215 and 240 °C, a heated bed temperature between 55 and 80 °C, and a print speed of 20 to 50 mm/s.
PrimaSelect TPU 77D is a durable technical TPU filament designed for applications that require both flexibility and structural strength. With its high Shore hardness of 77D, it offers a unique balance between elasticity, impact resistance, and rigidity. This makes it an excellent choice for functional parts, protective components, and industrial applications where long-term durability is essential.
